Veteran Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle, has described social media and the world in general as filled with toxicity.

The ex-wife of veteran actor Patrick Doyle, via her Instagram page, shared a photo of herself, revealing that she used to wonder what she would do with herself once she became an "empty nester."

According to her, disappearing from everything was the best thing for her, emphasizing that social media and the world at large have been too toxic for her quiet soul.

She further questioned the public on it they've been protecting themselves.

She wrote:
"I used to wonder what I'd do with myself once I become an "empty nester"...

Now I know.
Had to disappear again..
The streets of SM (nay, the world in general) is becoming too toxic for my quiet soul.
