Why Nigeria Media Is Scared Of Me—Akin Lewis
Veteran Nollywood actor, Akin Lewis, who recently celebrated his 40th year in the Nigerian film industry, has revealed why he has not been associated with any scandal like some of his colleagues in the entertainment industry.
According the recently appointed Rector of a film institute in Lagos, journalists are scared to rubbish the name he has built over the years.
He added that the Nigerian press is actually scared of him because of lawsuit that might result from writing untrue stories about him. Akin Lewis said if any journalist tries to mess up with him, he will not hesitate to land heavily on him.
“The press is scared of me. It took a lot of hard work to build the name, which has become a brand today. I will sue them big if they try to mess with me,” he told the Nation.
