Nollywood movie producer cum director, Andy Chukwu is working on new movie on Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF) titled Agonies of a Teenage Girl which will soon hit the international scene.

The movie, "Agonies of a Teenage Girl", is the true life story based advocacy movie on the menace of the dreaded, dehumanizing and agonizing Vesico Vaginal Fistula which is a serious problem to womanhood.

The teenage girl was ostracized with her baby by the community after forcefully gave out for marriage at a tender age of fifteen by her family who after becoming pregnant was attended by traditional birth attendant and when her condition becomes worst was taking to health where she delivered and subsequently developed this deadly disease call VVF.

According to Chukwu, the movie is a part of his contribution towards supporting the efforts of Ebonyi state First Lady, Josephine Elechi in fighting VVF in the Ebonyi area. Chukwu says that the movie will parade some of the biggest stars in Nollywood, and amongst the names he dropped are Pete Edochie, Patience Ozokwo, Genevieve Nnaji and Kanayo O Kanayo.

He noted that the campaign against the scourge of a disease as dehumanizing and agonizing as VVF current embarked my Mrs. Elechi should be supported by a potent information dissemination, high entertainment and educative medium such as film.

According to Chukwu this masterpiece will be shot in English, French, Igbo and Hausa adding that the movie will be screened at community centres, premiered in major cities in Nigeria, Europe and America including other Africa countries where VVF is prevalence.

He further stated that the movie will be made in DVD copies at community hearth centers for free noting that a highly educative novel will be publish and also make available to secondary schools across the state.

Chukwu added that he will used the best artists and best equipment to make the movie a master piece stressing that the every arrangement have been concluded.
