For some years, this prolific actress, who touched many lives through her roles in her movies, was away, and many people kept asking questions.

While she was off the scene, Hilda Dokubo was busy with giving a good account of herself in her political appointment in Rivers State.

She worked endlessly some months ago to ensure the return of President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term in office, but Nigerians were not ready to give Jonathan a second chance, instead, they went for Muhammadu Buhari, who promised them change.

Now that the elections are over, Hilda is back to her first love, acting. She recently premiered 'Stigma', a flick she acted in.

Speaking with The Nation on her decision to return to her husband, Hilda said she has no regret taking that bold step.

She said, “We thank God. It is fine. God is doing what only God can do. There were no regrets in the beginning, there can't be any regrets now.”
