Allison-Maduekwe Did Not Contribute To APC – Saraki
The chairman, Senate Committee on Environment and Ecology, Dr Bukola Saraki, has denied that the minister of petroleum, Ms Dieziani Allison-Madueke made contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC) through him.
Saraki, in a statement by his media aide, Bamikole Omishore said that “the attention of Dr Bukola Saraki's media office has been drawn to an online article alleging that the controversial minister of petroleum made contribution to the All Progressives Congress through Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki.”
He described the media report as laughable, baseless and lacking any iota of truth.
He said, at no time did Senator Bukola Saraki meet or discuss with Ms Deziani or her agents.
“Senator Saraki hereby challenges the minister, her agent, associates or any other person that might have any evidence or information contrary to the above to share same with Nigerians. The last time Senator Saraki met with Ms Deiziani was in 2012 when the minister, her mother and her sister visited the Sarakis on a condolence visit over the death of Dr Olusola Saraki, the father of Senator Saraki.
