A federal high court sitting in Abuja has granted the former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo permission to travel abroad for medical check-up pending the commencement of his trial. Delivering ruling on the application filed by Dasuki, Justice Adeniyi Ademola granted the former NSA a period of three weeks to take care of his health.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola ordered the court registrar to release the travel documents of the former NSA, upon the perfection of the terms attached to an order to that effect.

Justice Ademola also said that the surety should be ready to take the position of the accused in case the former NSA refuses to appear to answer charges proffered against him.
Trial has been adjourned till November 26 and 27, 2015.
