The household of President Goodluck Jonathan is marking the first wedding anniversary of their daughter, Faith Sakwe-Edward, despite their loss at the March 28, 2015 presidential election, which produced Muhammadu Buhari as the president-elect.

Faith and her heartthrob, Godswill Osim Edward, were joined together in 2014 amid pomp and pageantry.

Speaking on her marriage, Faith said, “It is amazing looking back and knowing that we are one year old.”

She described her husband as “my sunshine, sweetheart, king, hero, heartbeat,” adding that “words are not enough to describe my feelings for you and I pray that God keeps us alive (and in love), to see our cute great grandchildren."
