Residents of Umunneato autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State woke up to find the lifeless body of a lady dumped in their area. The incident has now thrown the whole community in confusion.

The yet to be identified lady, according a report, could have been sexually assaulted to death because no part of her body was missing, which could have insinuated a ritual killing.

An eyewitness, who was quoted in a report, but spoke on the ground of anonymity, said that a close look at the victim's body revealed bruises, especially around the cleavages and private parts.

“I am not too sure that it was a case of ritual killing because no part of the girl was missing. It is, to me, a case of brutal gang-raping to death of the unfortunate girl,” the eyewitness reportedly said.

According to the report, the royal father of the community, Eze Leo Nwokocha, said he has no doubts that the police and other security agencies in the area would get to the root of the incident and prosecute the perpetrators.
