On Thursday, February 5, 2015, movie star, Nkem Ike announced the passing away of her father, Emmanuel Ike a day before. The man died while the actress was busy with her colleagues campaigning for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan.

His death occurred just when the industry were still mourning the death of a popular actor, Muna Obiekwe, who was buried few days before Nkem's father died.

Nollywoodgists.com learnt that the family of deceased has concluded plans on how to bury the actress' father.

We reliably gathered that Friday, March 20, 2015 has been fixed for the burial at his compound in Agbariji inyi, Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State.
