Funeral Rites For Late Classic FM OAP, Sly, Announced

Few days after the shocking death of Classic FM presenter, Sylvester Ojigbede, fondly called Sly, his family has released his burial arrangements.

Sly passed away on May 3, 2015 after a brief illness.

It has been gathered that the final farewell to the late radio star begins with a Christian Wake on Thursday, May 7 at King's College Annex, Victoria Island, Lagos by 5pm.

It continues on Friday, May 8 with funeral mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, located at 14, Musa Yar'adua Street, off Kofo Abayomi Street, VI, Lagos by 10am.

Interment follows immediately at the Ikoyi Cemetery in Lagos.

Sly was survived by a young wife and two children.

Until his untimely death, he was host of Morning Show and Saturday Morning Express both on Classic FM 97.3 Lagos.
