Fayose In Another Controversial Newspaper Cover Advert
Many had thought that the controversial governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose would have softened his attack on the candidate of the opposition, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, but that is presently not the case at the moment.
It would be recalled that the governor sponsored adverts on national dailies which suggested that Buhari may die in office just like some past Nigerian leaders from his political zone. He was lambasted for the adverts.
But today, Monday February 23, 2015, Fayose, in an advert on Sun newspaper, congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan on the exit of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
The governor described Obasanjo as a mole within the PDP and described his exit as good riddance to bad rubbish.
Part of the advert reads, "Obasanjo, the Troubler and Tormenter Of Our party is gone....Good Raddiance To Bad Rubbish'.
