Popular Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, best known as Falz, has sounded a note of warning to controversial self-acclaimed activist, Martins Vincent Otse, best known as VeryDarkMan.

Recall that VeryDarkMan set social media on fire on September 24, 2024, over a leaked audio recording of cross-dresser Bobrisky admitting to contacting Falz and his father, Femi Falana, SAN and giving them the sum of N10m to get a presidential pardon over the six-month prison sentence given to him after the crime of Naira mutilation.

In a recent development, Falz has addressed the issue officially since sending a letter requesting for VeryDarkMan to retract every defamatory statement made against him.

Falz addressed the ruckus in a viral video on the Afro Beats podcast, he stated that he reached out to VeryDarkMan over the leaked audio, and he was being defensive and unresponsive.

He noted that he tried his best to make VeryDarkMan see the wrong in his allegations, but all to no avail. He said that he is left with no choice other than to take the legal way, which would definitely incriminate the controversial activist.

“When I reached out to him over the audio, this guy was instantly defensive from the beginning; I’m like bro, try and listen. What are you instantly fighting about?

“And he said without mincing words, ‘shebi you are a lawyer, you can go to court’.

“I will have him know that there is a criminal angle to defamation, but I chose not to go that way. He could have been arrested because what you posted is absolutely false and I need you to take it down and tender an apology within a certain amount of time and what did he do? Nothing.

“I don’t know if it portrays him as a hero. He didn’t apologise, and people are trying to peddle me as an oppressor. So if you say you want to find trouble, that is my work. If you insist that’s what you are looking for, let’s go.”
