Celebrities have mostly been having headaches over the activities of impostors, who defraud their numerous unsuspecting fans.

In some cases, their accounts on social media platforms have been tampered with to carry out funny activities. Efizzy Music artiste, Yemi Alade, was a victim of such recently when her account with Instagram was hacked into.

Mavin Records artiste, Reekado Banks has been hit by these elements and he has come out to warn his fans to be careful of an impostor trying to damage his reputation.

Reekado Banks wrote on his official Instagram page about a fake account on Facebook asking his fans to provide their details to enable them win plasma television, phones and laptops.

He wrote, "My notice was brought to this, Please it's not true at all. Please don't be a victim."

The Mavin artiste whose real name is Ayoleyi Solomon also has a degree in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos. He was one of the many artistes who was signed by Don Jazzy's Mavin Records in 2013.
