How My Mother Died After Project Fame…. Christian Kwabena

Second runner up of Project Fame Season 7, Christian Kwabena, is leaving no stone unturned despite not winning the edition of the reality show as he recently moved to Nigeria after getting a mouth watering deal with one of Nigeria's top record label.

Speaking about his love life after the reality show, the singer stated that what is more important for him now is get his priorities right and not get distracted explaining that his girlfriend abandoned him before the competition.

According to the new star, immediately after the competition, his ex-girlfriend made an attempt to come back but he had to make her understand that Nigeria was more different from Ghana and such a far distance relationship was not going to work. He added that since she is also a singer, she understood what he was talking about.

Recalling his time at the project fame academy, Christian explained that if the event was held in his country, Ghana, a Nigerian would have still won it because of the population of the country. He added that what he hopes not to forget was when he lost his mother who had stroke after he won his position at the competition.

In his words, “Well, it's been a while now. It should be about two months now. Since my mum passed on, we have not been in touch. She passed away last year, after Project Fame on November 25 and we buried her December 20. So, I couldn't celebrate Christmas. She had a minor stroke. She was fighting it but it was just going on and off before she died. She was a pastor.”

“There was money. The woman was just a workaholic. She wouldn't just let things lie. It got to a point I told her to stop working but she wouldn't listen. She had a church, a school and would want to take charge of everything. I think she suffered the stress of handling all things by herself,” he said.
