‘The Department’ Premieres In Lagos Amidst Fanfare
It was an interesting time at the premiere of the movie 'The Department' at Filmhouse Cinemas, Surulere, Lagos on Tuesday. Nigeraifilms.com was amongst other selected audience that had the opportunity to see the flick first-hand before officially hitting the cinemas.
There were enough refreshments to keep the guests happy, who sat comfortably to watch the movie. It was a worthwhile event as it was also filled fun and excitement as the suspense filled movie intrigued all present.
'The Department' is a story about Tolu Okoye, who used to live in Lagos and run the industrial sabotage department for a Nigerian conglomerate until she got married and moved to the suburbs.
Now, she's a bored housewife and 'The Department' wants her back for one last job. She accepts against the wishes of her husband who then decides to sabotage 'The Department' to save their marriage.
The film The Department is the first feature of Inkblot Productions and Closer Pictures.
The captivating, romantic movie is set to hit the cinemas on January 30. It features an intriguing mix of Nollywood legends and fast rising stars including: Desmond Elliot, Majid Michel, Osas Ighodaro, Jide Kosoko, O.C. Ukeje, Kenneth Okolie, Seun Akindele, Somkele Iyamah, among others.
