SuperWoman Agenda Features TV Personality, Adaora Onyechere.

Superwoman agenda is a monthly edition of the mamacruzz blog intended to review Nigeria women who are great achievers, and also to empower women endowed with great talents but are struggling to be seen so as to unleash their potentials. A lot is already ongoing, on women issues but much is still expected, to empower women. On the maiden edition of this column ( July Edition), we are kicking off with A strong woman, multi talented and a gem, TV personality Adaora Onyechere. Check out her profile after now:

Adaora Onyechere is a Nigeria TV/Radio presenter,entrepreneur, motivational speaker and author, widely known as the co-anchor Kakaaki, a daily talk show on Africa Independent Television.

Hails from Okigwe in Anambra state of Nigeria and first in a family of six children. Adaora had a voracious educational background, she read English language out of her passion for writing despite the fact that her parents wanted her to be a lawyer as she revealed to Nation newspaper, though she also went further to obtain a diploma in law at Coventry University after passing through A level education at IONA college, England. Adaora also graduated from London Metropolitan university with a BA in English broadcasting . it didn't stop at that, she holds a masters degree in creative writing from Oxford Books University as well.

Looking into her career history, Adaora wrote for World view magazine London, a student-based magazine in the U.K, then proceeds to have her first broadcasting stint as a radio presenter with confluence cable network limited, a broadcast media house in Kogi state before working for Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Vision FM and DAAR communications, a media company housing Africa Independent Television where she currently works as a presenter.

Adaora is not just a broadcater , she is also a motivational book author. Book she has published includes poetry for life black girl with a white heart women in the world, amongst others.

Awards she has received includes NOA mission Envoy of Peace Award Naija and Diamond winner award

Adaora is a single mother with a son, she is the initiator of several non-governmental organisations which includes " Yellow Jerry can Save-A-Child Lend-A-Hand" project, a foundation that focuses on the welfare of children and women who have been victims of insurgencies and "International Rise Up Against Rape", an initiative against child abuse and rape.

She is indeed a great woman of our time and a strong women's right activist.
