Former Super Eagles international, Victor Ikpeba, has joined forces with some Nigerians to take sides in politics. Not surprising though since Yobo Joseph is also in support of the ruling party (PDP).

Victor Ikpeba, recently disclosed that even if the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presents his NEPA bill as certificate, he was ever ready to cast his vote for him.
According to him, “Even if Buhari present NEPA bill as certificate, I will vote him, E don reach that level.”

Though Ikpeba did not give reasons for his sudden support, but from the tone of the message, it depicts a citizen who is in pain and so eager to see the lost glory of his country returned.

Victor during his playing days played as a forward for both club and country. Ikpeba played 31 international matches and scored seven goals for Nigeria. He played at the FIFA World Cups in 1994 and 1998. Ikpeba helped win the 1994 African Nations Cup and the Olympic football gold medal in 1996.
