Gist making the rounds has it that Nollywood actor, Jibola Dabo, has left acting. This is because of his long absence from the industry.

But the actor has revealed that he just decide to pause in order for him to concentrate on his political campaign.

According to the veteran actor, 'it was never his call or decision but the call of his people who clamoured for him to represent them.

“I can still do one or two movies, because nothing in the constitution says I can't do movies, but I know there won't be time to do many movies. I'm not quitting, I'm just taking a break to give back to the people, because I've realized that the industry has taken me to a particular peak.”

The actor is currently strategising on how to clinch the ticket to represent his people of Owo Federal Constituency, Ondo State, at the House of Representatives.
