Prominent entertainment and media executive, Dayo Adeneye, has been given an appointment in the campaign team of Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State.

The Ogun State-born entertainment guru turned politician has been made a member of the Media and Publicity Committee for Amosun's second term ambition.

He is to work with others to offer innovative media strategies that will earn the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State a re-election victory. He will also ensure the party's success in the state in the 2015 polls.

Dayo could not get the party's ticket to contest in the Ogun State House of Assembly election under a constituency in Odogbolu, his hometown.
