It was not a funny scenario at an event recently held in Lagos when popular actor, Yomi Fash Lanso could not identify a popular Nigerian musician who ruled the airwaves in the 90s and early 2000s, Baba Fryo.

Baba Fryo became very popular in Nigeria after he released 'Denge Pose', which turned into a national anthem in no time.

But when Yomi sighted the singer at the same event he also attended, the actor was lost in memory and was seen asking a friend standing beside who Baba Fryo was.

Interestingly, the Ajegunle-based musician was with his trademark facial sign, but Yomi could not easily identify who Baba Fryo was.

Could it be that Yomi was in the moon when Baba Fryo was the artiste of the moment some years ago or the actor was only trying to say he does not listen to Nigerian music? Someone please call 911.
