On Wednesday, December 10, 2014, nominees of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) would be officially unveiled, Nollywoodgists.com has authoritatively learnt.

This will be announced on Wednesday at 7:30pm and public voting will be opened immediately after the announcement for the third edition of the glamorous ceremony.

The unveiling broadcast will be hosted by Nick Mutuma of Mashariki Mix and Sika Osei of 53 Extra. The voting period will be expected to last till February 28, 2015.

According to the Regional Director, M-Net (West) Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, “We are pleased to invite our viewers to tune in as we announce the nominees for the 2015 AMVCAs. We have received over 2 000 entries and this undoubtedly reflects the importance of the awards in the African film and television industry. We are all excited to know those who made the cut!”
