Top Nollywood stars; Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Funke Akindele Oloyede will lead other Nigerian celebrities to the first Islander Magazine Excellence Awards holding later this month.

The event is aimed at rewarding excellence to some top Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in the fields. Aside Omotola and Funke Akindele, other stars to grace the occasion are Eniola Badmus, Victor Olaotan, Kunle Coker, Gbenro Ajibade, Bimbo Thomas, Remi Surutu, Lizzy Anjorin, Biodun Okeowo, Kabirat Kabidipe, Joseph Benjamin, Chidiebere and Chidimma Aneke amongst others.

Some top politicians and society big-wigs billed for the awards are Ifeanyi Uba, Amb Musiliu Obanikoro, Femi Obateru, Aare Bashir Olawale Fakorede, Tunde Sobulo, Hon Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Chief Olamilekan Adebola Dosunmu Miss Eunice Efole, Wole Akala, Alh Omobolanle Rasheedat and others.

Artistes to perform at the event are May D, Capital FM, Sexy Steel, Saheed Osupa, Malaika and Tipsy.

The show will be hosted by Yaw and Anita Isedeh aka Omalicha while the blue carpet will be anchored by the duo of Adams of Sound City and Yemisi Jacobs.

The strictly by invitation event will hold on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Bespoke event centre, Lekki Phase 2, Lekki-Epe Express way, Lagos by 2pm.

The event is packaged by Ola Muhammed's led Islander Magazine.
