On Sunday, November 30, 2014, several heavyweights in the Yoruba movie industry converged at Oshogbo, Osun State, for the 2014 edition of Yoruba Movie Academy Awards (YMAA). The ceremony took place at WOCDIF Centre and kicked off at 4pm with the traditional carpet.

It was a glamorous event that saw fashion and style coming together again to make a statement with the traditional attires. The Yoruba stars gracefully stepped on the carpet as they made their way to the expansive hall of the centre, which was filled to capacity.

Veterans in the industry wore smiles all through as they were bestowed with honorary awards, while others fought to win other award categories, but gallantly too.
