Felix Duke Eyes Royalties After Retirement
Veteran singer and instrumentalist, Felix Duke, has said he wishes to retire from the industry and rely on royalties from his past works.
The talented musician, who infused glamour into the afro hip hop/reggae music in Nigeria, lamented that he is not happy with the happenings in the music industry in Nigeria at the moment.
In his words, “I am not satisfied with today's music.”
Felix Duke urged his colleagues to be up and doing, saying “there is a particular level that you will get to and you will rise as a musician.”
He added that, “I grew to the level of owning my own band and releasing albums. I served other people over the years. I wrote songs and when it was time for me to come out, I came out.”
