Man Attacks Barman For Staring At His Girlfriend
In Mathew 5:28, Jesus Christ emphatically said, “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart,” and this may have been the sin committed by a man recently in Lagos.
For lustfully gazing at another man's girlfriend, one Mr Simeon Tenebe, a bar man with a hotel around Ojodu, Lagos received a reward for doing such act.
The jealous man, who was irritated over the way the barman was allegedly staring at him and his lover while they were drinking in the hotel, attacked Simeon with some bottles of beer.
The man, Kelvin Friday, and his girlfriend were making out time in the hotel around 6pm on October 21, 2014 when the incident happened.
Narrating his ordeal, the victim said he was thinking about a discussion he had with his sister earlier in the day when the customer walked up to him, accusing him of rudely gazing at them, smashing his head with the bottle of beer he was drinking.
It was reported that the customer had earlier complained of Simeon's poor customer service when they first arrived at the hotel. Kelvin subsequently complained that Simeon was rudely looking at him and his girlfriend, challenging him to a fight and in the process smashed the bottle of bear he was drinking on his head.
Kelvin has been arrested and has already been charged before an Ikeja Magistrate's Court for assault.
