Top Nigerian comedian, Emeka Smith, who got married to his sweetheart, Prisca, in January 2012, has disclosed that he believes in love at first sight. The comic act revealed that he met his wife at a comedy show and immediately fell in love with her.

“I believe in love at first sight because it happened to me and my wife,” he said.

Narrating on how he met his wife, the humour merchant said, “I met my wife five to six years ago at a comedy show, It wasn't even her that came to me, I was walking out of the show, it was her friend that tapped her and said 'this guy is a comedian, let me snap with him' then the friend gave her the phone to snap the both of us.

“While she was holding the phone, I looked at her and I just liked her. She was not the one that even came to me, but looking at her, I just liked her. We had not even said hi, it was her friend that came to me, but after snapping the picture, I told her friend to excuse me to talk to her friend. Her friend was shocked because she was the one who came to meet me first.”

The comedian also said a marriage can only work if the woman is God fearing, and can also talk any situation that comes her way without looking outside the marriage.
