Popular comedian, Ayo Makun, otherwise known as AY has tied the knot with his wife on the 29th of November, 2008 at the Household of God Church, where Rev. Christ Okotie officiated the solemnization of the union between the couple. At the ceremony as per tradition the groom was the first to arrive at the church while the bride came in second however the grooms men came in last.

The wedding started with worship songs from the pastor with the couple later being joined in marriage.

The wedding cake was by a popular caterer, and consisted of three tiers and a series of decorations.

There were lots of jokes at the event from Gbenga Adeyinka 1, Teju Babyface, Julius Agwu, Princess, Omo Baba and a host of other comedian's, the X-plicit dancers were among those to open the floor, while P-Square, Sammie Okposo, Segun Obe ushered in the couples amongst others.

The couple were giving advice about being married, the usual to love, cherish and be truthful to each other, and the groom later on thanked everybody that came to rejoice with them.
