Nollywood actor, Augustine Okoye, has cried out to gays in the country to let him be as he is not part of their community.

The actor who explained that he only played a gay role in a Nollywood movie just to prove a point that he could act any role, has been having sleepless nights because of his gay role.

"For the fact that i recently played a role in a gay movie does not make me one. I am straight, I took the role because I want to proof to directors and producers that I can take any role and give my best in it . Fans have been saying congrats for a job well done. Please gay should stop harassing me because I am not a gay," he begged.

Meanwhile, the actor has been listed as one of the actors that will be presenting an Award at NOLLYWOOD AND AFRICA CRITICS AWARDS ( NAFCA ) California USA. which will be coming up in September.

He was also nominated as best supporting actor in his movie ' THE SKULL.'
