Jide Kosoko, Ibinabo, Sammie Okposo, Others In NEIHIC Advisory Board

Some bigwigs in the Nigerian entertainment industry have now joined the advisory board of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Convention (NEIHI).

On July 22, 2014, entertainment stakeholders will converge at the Grand Ball Room of Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos for a groundbreaking event.

To make the occasion successful, the likes of Ali Baba, Obi Asika, Sammie Okposo, Tony Okoroji, Julius Agwu, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Audu Maikori, Chris Ubosi, and Kenny Ogungbe have been made advisory board member.

Others are Efe Omorogbe, Sunday Are, Tony 'Don T' Anifite, Jide Kosoko, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Gbenga George, Edi Lawani, Cally Ikpe, Ayo Animashanun and Tony Nwakalor.

The above personalities will give all the necessary support to the convention to ensure its smooth take off, and also guarantee a rock solid foundation for the planned uniform health insurance cover for the entire entertainment industry.

This initiative, according to information made available to Nollywoodgists.com, to launch an entertainment industry health insurance cover, which would no longer support the approach of public begging to raise funds for medical treatment.

The unique insurance cover being designed for the entertainment industry by the technical partners, National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) will be unveiled at the stakeholders meeting for proper scrutiny before the convention day proper.

The convention which is being presented the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Lecture Series (NEILS) is in partnership with National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Lagos State Ministry of Health and Nigeria Medical Association.
