Nollywoodgists.com has gathered through the streetjournal that the second marriage of Aisha, the beautiful first daughter of Nigeria's former military President, General Ibrahim Babangida has hit the rocks.

The marriage that gathered the creme-de-la-creme of the society in 2008 is dissolved due to irreconcilable differences.

Aisha who was married to Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi, the former Governor of Zamfara State had earlier been married to Basheer Nalado Garba, a nephew to the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha.

The marriage attracted celebrities from all over the world to the General's Hill Top Mansion back in September 2003 with friends and cronies of the gap-toothed General jostling to outdo each other in terms of gifts. The marriage however packed up three years after. The couple had a child. Though there had been speculations that all was not well with the union before the eventual break up, it took Aisha's decision to revert to her maiden name to convince many that the marriage had actually ended and had been officially dissolved.

Though many reasons were adduced to the short life span of that marriage, close sources to the family disclosed that the former President's daughter displayed some attitudes that sparked off a major disagreement with her husband. One of such was her alleged decision to travel abroad when her baby was to be weaned, against Basheer's wish and marriage cracked.

After some time, Aisha found love again. Before long, there was another gathering at the Hill Top Mansion when she got married as the third wife of Muhammad Aliyu Shinkafi, the then Governor of Zamfara State. The marriage was contracted in April 2008 and a little less than five years after, Aisha is single again. Concerned parties are still keeping mum on the issue and what led to it.
