Ailing President of the Scriptwriters Guild of Nigeria, Chike Bryan, has disclosed to Nollywoodgists.com that he will be leaving the country this week, precisely on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, to India for his kidney transplant.

Chike, who was diagnose of a renal failure in 2013, will be undergoing a transplant in an Indian hospital.

It will be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan, a Grand Patron of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), donated the sum of N10million through AGN President, Ibinabo Fiberesima, for Chike's operation in India after the Guild sort for his help.

Though, Chike could not ascertain how long he will spend in India, he explained that it is only the doctors that will be able to tell, but hopes to be back as soon as possible to continue with what he loves doing.
