Desmond Elliot Is The ‘Tyler Perry’ Of Nigeria

Nigerian actor Fredrick Leonard has recently bared his mind that popular Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot amongst others is a visionary Nollywood player in Nigeria and a movie icon to look up to in the industry.

Tall, handsome and well built Fredrick who has been in the Nollywood film industry for over five years, on and off anyways, attested to this at a recent event with Nollywoodgists.com which was held in Lagos.

According to him, Desmond has done something what I have been asking a lot of people to do, which is giving back to the society. I think it is expedient to give back to an industry (Nollywood) that is still evolving, and he is doing what I really love; some people call him the 'Tyler Perry' of Nigeria. I think he is constantly upgrading himself. He is a good role interprer.

Fredrick went on to add that he has huge respect also for Nollywood thespians such as, Ramsey Noah, Bimbo Akintola, Nse-Ikpe Etim and Mariam Apollo, who according to him are wonderful people and doing good jobs in the industry.

The Anambra state-born actor with a strong personality has featured in a lot of movies including Ghanaian movies.
