‘Double Wahala’ Brought Me Fame--Oritse Femi

Rave making artiste, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele aka Oritse Femi, who recently buried his father, has stated that no matter his wealth and classical life style, he still belongs to the street.

According to the artiste, he said that he gets his inspiration from the streets because everything in life happens on the street and the essence of his songs is to make people reflect over certain actions.

The artiste, who his currently making wave with his recently released hit track, 'Double Wahala,' which is a tribute to the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, confessed that of all his songs, it was 'Double Wahala' that brought him fame beyond his imagination.

“I have sung lots of songs, but the song I respect most is the remix of Fela's 'Double Wahala' because it really brought me fame and I thank God for that. One thing is for sure, I belong to the street, even late Dagrin, Olamide, and some other people belong to the street (too).”
