One of Nigeria's most vibrant music events, Star Music Trek, is finally set to kick off and thousands of enthusiastic fans will converge at the IBB Square, Makurdi, Benue State as the second concert off the 10 cities for 10 weeks. The music fiesta holds on April 5, 2014.

Fan's favourites; Tiwa Savage, 2Face, Timaya, Wande Coal and M.I will be mounting the stage as the momentum increases less than one week into The Trek.

Also, the first stage of Star Music Trek 2014, which was held on Saturday March 29th at Local Government Stadium Nsukka, saw a large crowd at the venue in a bid to watch some of their favourite artistes perform.

According to the first lady of The Trek, Tiwa Savage, “I'm bringing Eminado live to the city of Makurdi, so happy to be back here performing for my fans.”

“Just be sure that we'll be holding that stage down in Makurdi from start to finish, so don't miss out!,” the sultry singer added.

“I don't know any other place anyone would rather be on April 5th,” Wande Coal acknowledges, saying that, “me and the crew are going to shut it down at IBB Square on April 5th.”

“Expect everything you've ever wanted in a concert like this,” Dr SID promises.

Artistes on the Trek this year include 2Face, Tiwa Savage, M.I, Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Sound Sultan, Pasuma, Mr Raw, Timaya, Dr Sid, Naeto C, KCee, Sean Tizzle, Phyno and May Star Music Trek 2014 will be touring nine other cities: Uyo, Umuahia. Orlu, Ekwulobia, Onitsha, Benin, Ado Ekiti culminating in a spectacular grand finale which will hold at Jalisco Sports Center, Oshodi, Lagos State.
