We thought it was the end for media personality Toke Makinwa and her longtime beau Fitness & Wellness entrepreneur Maje Ayida when they called the relationship off, few weeks ago, Though this is not their first breakup, based on Toke's interview with Kemi Lawal of the Punch Newspaper, it seems as though this is the final one.

I am not under any pressure to get married. It's the society that puts pressure on women not minding that divorce rates are high. I was once in a long term relationship with Maje Ayida and it has come to an end. I think it's unfair for me to speak about our relationship because he is not here to defend himself. He is an amazing guy but it was not meant to be. It's strange being single again but I am taking it one step after the other. One of the mistakes I made in my last relationship is that we dated for a long time. They were amazing years but they were also 12 long years. When you are faithful to someone, know what you can tolerate. My Mr Right has to be God-fearing, who would not do certain things because he is God-fearing. He has to understand what I do and must not be selfish"

But shockingly Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida got married on Wednesday January 15 after their dramatic breakup And that the wedding was totally unexpected! Even the bride was unaware of it.

That Maje Ayida had planned with a popular magazine (name withheld) to invite Toke Makinwa to Lagos Island for a photoshoot.

The magazine played its role very well, got Toke to the hotel where she was dressed up, she was fitted into this 'wedding' dress, her hair and make-up was done. Then they moved her to the 'photoshoot' venue.

It was now at the photoshoot venue that Toke met Maje Ayida, her sister and the people from the registry who came to officiate the wedding already waiting there. Rings were exchanged

Maje Ayida has also rented an apartment for his lovely wife and himself at Lekki, with a cook and driver at Toke's beck and call.

Toke and Maje were undeniably in love, that they finally came back together, behind our backs and decided to walk down the aisle. Congratulations to them
