Nigerians Don’t Need Dollar Account for Visa – UK
It has been established that it is not a necessity for Nigerian to own a dollar account in order for them to make payments in their application for a United Kingdom visa, according to the Communications Manger for the British High Commission, Mr. Wale Adebajo.
In a statement made by the High Commission, it was stated that, “The British High Commission would like to clarify the issue of on-line visa payments, which has recently been the subject of news reports."
They also added that, “As before, Nigerians with a Naira credit or debit card can pay for visas using their Naira account. Although the visa fee will be denominated in dollars, the payment will be deducted from their account in Naira. There is no need for anyone to have a dollar account.”
