PMAN To Launch Biometric Card For Members Sunday
Since Pretty Okafor took over as President of Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN), the organization has experienced different changes. Many people will agree that PMAN has breathed fresh air again after enduring several crises for many years.
Pretty Okafor of the Junior and Pretty fame has recorded several achievements since coming into office, one of which was the unveiling of an intended Biometrics Card Scheme for his members. The event was held at Four Point, Lagos, on March 13, 2015.
Information now reaching us confirms that the laudable initiative is set for launch on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the prestigious Planet One, Maryland, Lagos.
The bio-card will function as an ATM card, apart from making it possible for PMAN to develop a sound data-base of persons involved in Nigeria's music business sector. It will also avail users a CUG (Close User Group) platform that will enable them call their music business associates for a monthly flat rate of just N1,000!
Some of the artistes who have shown interest in the restructuring process include Ruggedman, Sunny Neji, Asha Gangali, Ochonma, Baba Dee, Zakky Adzay, Tolu Obey, 2Face Idibia, Tony Okoroji, Felix Duke and many others.
Recall that sometimes ago, former PMAN president, Tee Mac handed over documents of a land in his possession in Abuja to the organization.
