Society Gathers For Encomium Magazine
The annual Independence gig organised by Encomium Magazine came alive last Monday. The much talked about annual Independence groove in conjunction with Primetime Entertainment rocked in Lagos, like no other.
That day, as guests, which comprises of stars of music, comedy, leading light in fashion, entrepreneurs, corporate people, arrived in their green and white ensembles.
They and sank themselves into the chitchats, and the atmosphere of infectious amity ,that pervaded Anchor Event Center, Agidingbi, venue of the revelry. Trust the conveners Kunle Bakare, publisher Encomium magazine, and the duo Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye, of Primetime, who are known not to do things in half measure.
With Africa's most celebrated, DJ Jimmy Jatt, on the wheels of steel,the 6-hour extravaganza event paraded all the thrills and frills of a high octane soiree. It was indeed a roller coaster event, with sumptuous meals, champagne, vintage cognanc and other exotic drinks flowing effusively.
Little wonder, when it ended later that night,many didn't want to go home.
