EXCLUSIVE: Omo Banke Finally Clears Air On Alleged Marriage Scandal
Few weeks ago, news went viral online that popular Yoruba actor, Soji Taiwo better known as Omo Banke reportedly abandoned his wife and two children in Nigeria and went ahead to marry a Nigerian-Canadian lover and divorcee, one Khadijat also known as Nike.
Since the story went online, especially from the stable of Nollywoodgists.com, it has generated many controversies within some sections of the actor's fans.
Speaking exclusively to Nollywoodgists.com on the matter, Soji claimed he did not abandon his wife in Nigeria in order to marry Khadijat as reported.
According to him, he said that he was never married to the mother of his two children in Nigeria. He claimed that he is not denying the fact that the said 'abandoned wife' gave birth to his two children, but he was never married to her in any way. He said the woman was just his babymama.
Also speaking exclusively to Nollywoodgists.com on the issue, his 'new wife', Khadijat said that she did not marry Soji as an already married man, but was aware of his two children from his babymama in Nigeria.
She said that Soji was also aware of the fact that she is a divorcee with two kids from her former hubby, Moruf Simba, who is a Lagos socialite.
The couple told Nollywoodgists.com that they should have been honeymooning by now, but their wedding controversies have stalled that.
