One of Nigeria's hottest artistes, Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, will launch his debut album come Sunday, July 22, 2012 at launch party in Lagos.

The 'Dami Duro' crooner has been a hot cake in the Nigerian music scene since he stormed the industry in 2011 with his hit single, 'Back When'.

Davido will launch his album at Eko Hotel and Suites on that day. The title of his album, as we learnt, is titled 'Omo Baba Olowo' (OBO).

2face, Naeto C, Wizkid, Ice Prince, May D and KSwitch are some of the artistes billed to perform at the album launch. A source told Nollywoodgists.com that D'Banj might make a surprise appearance at the launch.

Davido was reported to have penned a deal with D'Banj as an artiste under D'Banj's DKM Records.

Davido is a son of a billionaire businessman; Deji Adeleke. His father is the chairman of Keplo-Pacific Energy Pacific. The company is believed to be involved in banking, steel, power and energy.

Davido's father is also the founder and pro-chancellor of Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State.
