MEET THE MOST ELIGIBLE SPINSTERS IN SHOWBIZ

They are talented divas whose contribution to the growth of showbiz in Nigeria cannot be underestimated. But they are yet to get married even as they approach the apogee of their youth. Entertainment Cafe presents these eligible spinsters for your weekend delight.[

•Rita Dominic: Smooth-skin Rita, who buried her late father, Dr. Dominic Waturuocha, a few weeks back, does not only come from a wealthy background, she has also registered herself among the most sought-after and highest paid actresses. Although she is comfortable and successful in her acting career, this last born of her family is yet to settle down with a man she can call her husband. Consequently, she is one of the most eligible spinsters in Nollywood.

•Ronnie Dicko: She is one of the versatile actresses who have been in the game for years. The dark complexion Ronnie, who is a role model to many aspiring and upcoming actresses, is currently combining her acting career with Public Relations, a bold step she took when retired General Buba Marwa was the governor of Lagos State. The 41-year-old Ronnie is one of the most eligible spinsters in the showbiz scene.

•Ini Edo: Although Iniobong Edo has been labelled as one of the bad girls in Nollywood, she deserves more respect and applause when her creativity, talent and ability to interpret roles to the delight of movie directors, are taken into consideration.
Currently observing a one year ban placed on her by the Ejike Asiegbu-led Actors Guild of Nigeria, unmarried Ini, as she is fondly called, is still one of the most sought-after in the motion picture industry.

•Cossy Orjiakor: Cossy has become a household name following the controversial roles she has played in some popular musical videos. She has, however, been keeping a low profile for some time now, but her impact in the showbiz industry is well felt by Nollywood watchers. However, the crossover actress has not been able to tie down any man as a husband.

•Uche Jombo: If financial rewards could be equated with hard work, then if Uche is not the richest, she should rank among the richest Nollywood personalities. As an ambitious lady, she started her movie career as a script writer before she veered into acting. She is yet to tie the nuptial knot.

•Bimbo Akintola: Bimbo is one of the most versatile actresses who features in both Yoruba and English movies, an achievement that has been impossible to attain for most of her colleagues. It is, however, hoped that she will break the barrier of finding her 'Mr. Right' soon.

•Lilian Bach: This talented mulatto actress is one of the few actresses that are not in a hurry to get married. According to her, marriage is an institution one must not gain admission into in a hurry. So, she believes in getting married whenever the elusive 'Mr. Right' comes her way.

•Oby Gold Edozieh: The Theatre Arts graduate of the Lagos State University, is no doubt of one of those keeping the hope of a better movie industry in Nigeria alive with her unique talent. Oby has featured in quite a number of highly rated films. She is an eligible spinster.

•Muma Gee: Born on 18 November, 1986 and christened Gift Iyumame Uwame, she hails from Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State. The self acclaimed Nubian Queen and graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, is yet to settle down with a man she can call her husband.

•Funke Akindele: Talented Funke started her acting career a few years ago with a youth-oriented TV serial, I Need To Know and since then, her profile in the make-believe industry has been soaring higher and higher. Apart from the numerous scripts she has handled, Funke has also produced her own movie, Agbefo. But she is not yet married.

•Uche Iwuji: She had a relationship with Super Eagles and Everton of England defender, Joseph Yobo. She was also enmeshed in a nude photograph scandal recently. But no matter what, Uche is still one of the versatile actresses in Nollywood. She has no man she can call "my husband".

•Sola Idowu: Popularly known as Weird MC, she has been in the music industry for over a decade and still waxing stronger. A multiple award winner, who celebrated her birthday a fortnight ago and also dropped another single Riran Wo, a follow up to Ijo Ya, her award winning single, is not hooked yet even though she over 30.

•Tricia Esiegbe: Talk of a lady who is creative and ambitious, then you are obviously referring to Tricia, who is also the presenter of the popular television programme, Bold Faces. The creative crossover actress is still single... and searching?

•Princess Dammy: Naturally endowed, Princess is one of the leading female comedians in Nigeria. The consistency and courage of this voluptuous lady have actually earned her fame and connections in the industry. However, the Creative Arts graduate of the University of Lagos is also an eligible spinster.
