Multiple reports from around residents of Mile 2 area of Lagos State confirm that a tanker full of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) exploded and went up in flames.

The incident, as we learnt, occurred at the early hours of today, Saturday, February 18. We gathered that about 30 people have been feared dead from the explosion. About 40 vehicles were also reportedly touched by the early morning explosion.

According to what Nollywoodgists.com was told, the tanker with registration number XB 370 ATN lost control while ascending Mile 2 bridge and then overturned, pouring its content on the road.

The tanker was reported to have gone up in flames afterwards. Reports say the explosion has caused a serious hold up along that axis.
