Who’ll love her children? – Omoni Oboli mourns preacher, Eunice Elisha hacked to death

By NG

Nollywood filmmaker, Omoni Oboli just like every other well meaning Nigeria is so heartbroken over the recent killing of a preacher, Eunice Elisha, who was wife of a Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor in Abuja.

According to eyewitnesses, late Mrs. Eunice who was a mother of six children was hacked to death while embarking on early morning cry. Mrs. Oboli, however, took to social media site to pour her feeling over the ugly incident.

"I kept hoping the story about a woman being murdered for religious reasons in Abuja was untrue. I kept hoping it will go away but no... So that's how this beautiful hard working mother got hacked to death needlessly and senselessly? Why Na?!! #Rip

"Who' ll love her children? Who will wipe their tears? I weep for them. Losing a mom is sad! This is 2016! We can't tolerate our differences? The perpetrators of this barbaric act had better not go scot free! Rest in the blossom of the Lord Eunice Olawale while we seek justice" she said.

"I was about 24 years when I lost my mom. I already had a family of my own but till date, it's the worst experience of my life. She had been ill but that didn't make it any less painful.  Loosing a mom suddenly, needlessly and senselessly to some barbarians is just downright gut wrenching and utterly heartbreaking!

"We still cannot tolerate ourselves in 2016? It's a shame! Shame on all the idiots who cannot live with their neighbors in peace irrespective of tribal or religious differences. God neither sleeps not slumbers! Una own dey come for front!

"While we are waiting and praying for God to visit them how He deems fit, we must not relent in crying for justice because we the people are more powerful than we know! Make your voice heard! Loud it on all your social media handles and every platform available to you.

"Trust me, they hear us! I'm on an early morning road trip from Abeokuta to Lagos and I'm just enraged! Rest in the blossom of the Lord Eunice Olawale while we seek and ask for justice on your behalf. We must not relent!" she added.
