The nominations for this year's MOBO awards have been announced.Dbanj,Wizkid, and son of Afrobeat legend, Seun Kuti were nominated in the Best African Act Category alongside other African Acts like; Liquid Deep, Cheikh Lo, Owiny Sigoma Band, Smod, Spoek Mathambo and Viewux Farka Toure.

The award ceremony will hold at glasgow, Scotland in October 2011.

MOBO is Music Of Black Origin Awards held annually in the United Kingdom to recognise artists of any race or nationality performing black music.
