Whitfield for Africa int’l film festival
One of Hollywood's most celebrated actresses, Lynn Whitfield, has been confirmed as one of the featured talent, ambassador and international spokespersons for the Africa International Film Festival scheduled to take place in Nigeria.
This was made known by the AFRIFF team. The team said that Whitfield indicated to be a part of the festival that holds between November 29 and December 5, 2011.
The Emmy Award winner made her film debut in the 1982 comedy film, Dr. Detroit. In her recent work, she joined forces with Tyler Perry, who handpicked her for a role in the popular screen adaptation of his play, Madea's Family Reunion.
