Before his marriage to top actress Ayo Adesanya, virtually nothing was known of Goriola Hassan in the entertainment industry.

But with his nuptials to the Most Wanted star actress, Gori became an item in the Yoruba movie industry and was known as a producer, director and actor.

Goriola Hassan and Ayo Adesanya, who met at a studio and got married after a period of dating, co-produced several movies being hits in the market. It was on the set of one of their hit movies that trouble started in their marriage as, according to the husband,Ayo was drinking excessively and his attempts to curb her led to hiccups in their marriage which culminated in their break-up.

But that really is not gist. The main gist here is that ever since Ayo abandoned her matrimonial home, her erstwhile husband's movie career has suffered a setback.

According to movie enthusiasts,Gori,as he is fondly called, has not been churning out movies as he used to do when they were a couple.

His last movie was a disappointment despite the fact that he featured in it unlike when Ayo was still with him.

When the going was good between them, we gathered that Ayo used to be the star actress in their movies while Goriola used to direct the movies and at times starred in some of them.

But in the recent movie which he shot without Ayo, movie buffs were quite disappointed as the movie lacked substance.

The fact the Gori even used Ayo's name as the producer of the movie did not make it fly. Many who used to love the movies of the couple are now wondering what has become of Gori's production outfit,Nee-Has Productions.

Gori once claimed he was responsible for scripts of all the movies coming from the stable of the couple then,the question now is has the flavor he used to put into the stories all gone?

Many claim they have gone with Ayo whom they swear was actually the writer of the movies we gathered that Gori's last movie refused to fly despite the fact that he took it round the globe.

It was gathered that before its release to the Nigerian market, Gori had taken the movie to London, USA and Ireland to premiere but it was still a flop and this has seen him taking a break from movie production and acting.

But while his own acting career is dwindling, that of his estranged wife,Ayo Adesanya,is on the rise as she has continuously been the face of many movies with her face adorning many movie posters and jackets.

Not only that, she has also produced a number of movies after she moved out of her matrimonial home.
