Popular comedienne Damilola Adekoya better known as Princess lost her father Pa Adekoya in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State this morning Thursday, June 30, 2011.

The plus-size looking comic confirmed the sad news as she spoke to our reporter in a telephone conversation while in tears this afternoon at 1:35PM , 'It's true. He died this morning,' she sadly disclosed but when asked how it happened. 'I'm really sorry I can't talk right now', she stressed.

Princess who is currently in Lagos and trying to raise money for the burial arrangements of her dad hasn't been seeing the best of times lately; On Monday, February 14, 2011 she was robbed at her Iwaya, Lagos home.
