Young Nigerian pop singer Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid is said to release his debut album titled 'My Time' in a matter of weeks.

Wizkid in such a short period has chunked out a couple songs that have become instantaneous hits. The 20 year old is fast rising in the Nigerian music scene with his locally accepted music and hot videos. Hit songs like 'Holla at your boy', and 'Tease me' are a few of his songs that testify to his hit making formula.

Wizkid just a few years ago came into the limelight when he featured on rapper M.I's debut work 'Talk About It', specifically on the track 'Fast Money Fast Cars'. Little did we know that he would then sign with Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) record label and turn into an overnight celebrity.

An album release party will be held Sunday, June 12, 2011 at a yet to be disclosed venue
