The amorous affair between the star actor, Chinedu Ikedezie of Aki and Pawpaw fame and is lover, Nkechi Mowekwu.whom he engaged to amidst fanfare at the exotic bar, Q Club on Allen is said to have packed up like poorly arranged packed of cards. The AMAA nominee, Aki, as he's fondly referred to is bitter about the rumour which is said to have really made him dispirited.

A call was put through to Chinedu for his reaction over the ugly rumour and the pint-sized Nollywood personality bitterly fused out that the Press should write something good about them and not nasty and negative like this one. He actually refused to comment on the story as he said “That's my private life and no one can encroach on it”.
