JOLLY RECORDS GOES INTO MOVIE PRODUCTION
Popular indigenous music promotion outfit, Jolly Records, has taken another step by adding movie productions to its programmes. The Chief Executive officer of the outfit, Chief Femi Omoniyi, who disclosed this to Nollywood Reel last week said his mission is to explore the movie industry the way nobody has done before. He said that unlike others, Jolly production movies will not feature already established movie stars, rather, it will hunt for new and talented artistes.
'Besides, I will feature talented broadcasters like MC kirikiri, Ifankaleluyah, among others. Because these are people who have promoted a lot of the movie stars we know right now. So I wish to celebrate them in return', Omoniyi said. Meanwhile, Omoniyi, who has promoted a lot of music acts denied speculations that the new album of his current artiste, King Femi Ariyo, has been banned. He argued that 'nobody can ban my artiste's album, over what? It's a mere speculation. The 10 tracker album will be released by December and nothing can stop that.'
